Southeast Asia's digital economy continues to expand rapidly, with the cashless trend advancing at speed. QR code payments have already achieved broad penetration in major markets such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, becoming the mainstream payment method for SMEs, retail merchants, and food delivery segments. Cross-border QR interoperability is also accelerating, providing strong momentum for regional payment development. Amid this fast-growing, highly diverse, and fragmented market landscape, Vanstone presented a range of flexible and secure QR payment terminals designed to empower regional partners with robust technical capabilities and product options.
At the exhibition, the Q161 Pro emerged as one of the spotlight products. With comprehensive support for dynamic QR codes, NFC contactless payments, and EMV chip card transactions, the device attracted strong interest from visitors. It has passed major international certifications including PCI and EMV, and supports multiple payment methods, earning wide recognition during on-site demonstrations. Another star product, the Q191 soundbox, also drew significant attention. This innovative device integrates three operating modes—QR payment terminal, dynamic QR soundbox, and static QR soundbox—allowing seamless adaptation to different regional and industry requirements. Featuring a highly configurable design, its battery, camera, display, and other components can be customized as needed, making it an ideal fit for diverse use cases across Southeast Asia.
Beyond its QR payment lineup, Vanstone also exhibited its complete series of smart POS terminals. These included the flagship A99 Standard Edition, the lightweight version A99 LITE, the high-stability classic A90 Pro, and the A80 unattended terminal designed for unattended payment scenarios—together forming a comprehensive product system covering high-end commercial scenarios, small and medium-sized retail, and unattended locations. With its rich product portfolio and reliable performance, the Vanstone smart POS family became one of the exhibition’s most visited highlights.
New products also made their appearance at SFF 2025. The A11 series smart PIN pad, powered by the Android-12-based VanDroid OS, enhances device compatibility and transaction efficiency. Its multi-interface design allows seamless integration with peripherals such as barcode scanners and printers, supporting omnichannel payments. Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, it ensures stable communication even in complex environments, making it particularly suitable for medium to large merchant cashier systems. Another newly showcased device was the A99 dual-display version, designed to improve payment transparency by enabling consumers to view transaction amounts and details in real time, enhancing checkout efficiency and user experience.
Throughout the three-day event, the Vanstone booth attracted continuous visits from banks, payment institutions, acquirers, retail groups, and fintech companies.
